We are seeking an engaging marketer - a catalyst - who is as excited as we are about our work and about telling our story. This position is going to be located in either New York City or Silver Spring, Maryland (Washington, D.C.).

Ideal candidates will have experience in marketing and business development, plus experience working in or with architecture and design firms. You should have a strong design and brand sensibility, and an exceptional understanding of the intersection of written and visual communication.

You must be a strategic thinker who can plan and execute details in the service of larger firm and client goals. In addition, you must be able to bring people together to achieve G&A's vision and position the firm for the future.

You will work closely with the G&A principals and a team of talented leaders to realize the firm's vision by crafting a growth strategy, enhancing brand visibility, and positioning the firm with a network of clients and collaborators for sustained success and growth.

Your responsibilities will include pursuing new work, shaping the funnel of new opportunities and clients, managing and producing responses to requests for qualifications and proposals, creating written content, and enhancing the firm's recognition in the marketplace - while continually evolving the firm's marketing materials.

You will also work with firm leaders to strengthen business strategy and brand via communications initiatives including new channels and techniques for social media and digital marketing.

Graphic Designer for Exhibitions
Silver Spring

Our Washington, DC Studio is looking for a highly motivated Graphic Designer with strong technical skills, a good eye for typography, background working on exhibitions and/or other spatial design and several years of design studio experience. This person should have a passion for design, flexible attitude, ability to work collaboratively with a team.

The Graphic Designer will work closely with the creative team to design and coordinate the design, production, fabrication, installation of exhibit graphics for museums throughout the United States. This talented and goal-oriented person would play a key role in creating memorable visitor experiences for museums, interpretive centers and visitor centers across the U.S.

Main responsibilities include; Working collaboratively with 3D designers, media team and content developers to create immersive, story-driven spaces, reporting to Graphics Director, developing graphic standards and hierarchies per project style and content, attending internal and client meetings to understand the content and materials available to bring the exhibition graphic elements to life both interpretively and creatively, developing designs from conceptual, ideation stage to the final design, and construction design and implementations.

Qualifications include; B.A or M.A in Graphic Design & Environmental Design with a minimum of 4 years, experience in experiential graphic design or related field, proven experience in multiple phases of the design process, including concept design, design development and final artwork, good knowledge of fabrication techniques and materials standards of exhibit design, excellent typography skills, high level of fluency with Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), MS Office and Keynote, exceptional organizational and communication skills (verbal, written, and illustrative), ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, Identity and branding design, touch-screen interactive interface design, or indoor/outdoor wayfinding signage design is a plus, and After Effects, Google Sketch-Up, Filemaker Pro a plus.
